This tool uses QODBC technology and Crystal reports
to permit reports on any information available through the QuickBooks
SDK. Many reports are included with the purchase of the tool, and others
can be created for a reasonable cost from ACCOUNTiGRATE. Some
examples of custom reports we create using the QDataViewer tool are:
- An inventory report that pulls the same item from different warehouses
(Warehouse A:Product 1; Warehouse B:Product 1; etc) into a summary
report with drill down capabilities. This information is extremely
valuable when making purchasing decisions for the business as a whole.
- A summary general leger report
- A Business Management report that shows the summary activity (i.e.
bank beginning balance, deposits, checks, transfers, and other to
arrive at the ending balance) along with the detail reports to support
the amounts.
- A purchase report that looks at inventory on hand, adds the open
purchase order amounts, subtracts the outstanding sales orders to
arrive at the inventory available for sale. Then with user defined
time frames, the amount of the item sold is calculated, this amount
is used to calculate what is needed on hand, then using the available
balance the quantity that should be ordered is displayed on the report.
